About Us

When looking at the indecency and abuse done to our pets across the world, we can attribute a large portion of that injustice to the lack of funding. Humans, as protectors of Mother Earth, must also protect her children. You should never feel like you are not doing your part to protect and appreciate our beautiful animals.

Paw Prints is a “passion project” of a small family whose deep love for their pets has led them to create art that not only puts a smile on your face but also contributes to the greater good. Though Paw Prints’ beginnings are humble and fairly recent, our promise to bring happiness, joy, and warmth to all animal lovers, while doing our part to protect animals through charity, has catapulted our growth.

Paw Prints is inspired by a very special Pomeranian mix from Southern California and a small family that raised him. (Read “Our Story” to learn more.)

The Root of The Problem

How do our behaviors negatively impact animals without our awareness? Explore further.

Only 20% of pets find a home

600 million stray dogs and cats roam the streets globally. Annually, approximately 6.5 million stray dogs and cats are in the US, with 1.5 million shelter animals euthanized in the United States alone. Only 1 in 5 shelter animals find a home.

The root of this issue often stems from irresponsible pet ownership. People sometimes acquire pets without fully understanding the responsibility involved, and when they realize it's overwhelming, they choose abandonment as an easy solution. In some cases, they might drop the pet off in a remote area, hoping someone else will take care of it. More often, however, the pet is left to wander the streets, lost and frightened, with no way to return home.

Local shelters do their best, but not enough...

Although Shelters receive majority of funding when it comes to animal rescue, it is simply not enough.

About 2.7 million animals are euthanized in shelters worldwide each year. Shelters must do it due to overcrowding and if they don't euthanize, they will run out resources and funding to help the animals that have a higher chance of adoption.

The solution is simple: Money

However, your local shelter is likely not receiving the funding they need to house more animals.

Only 1-2% of donations to the HSUS and ASPCA ever reaches your local shelters

When you donate to well-known organizations like the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) or the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), the funds don’t always reach your local shelter.

In fact, most local Humane Societies and SPCAs operate independently from these national groups. As a result, neighborhood shelters often depend heavily on donations from individuals like you and me, and they frequently need to make every dollar count.

Our Mission

We should not protect animals with tears and pity, we should do it with laughter, joy, and warmth.

That is the purpose of our art.

Paw Prints (a passion project at first) has turned into a global brand that stand before any type of danger, abuse, or neglect that faces any animal that walks (or swims) this planet.

To fight animal suffering, a portion of our profits will be donated towards good causes.

Paw Prints has designated a large part of our resources to validating the right charities. Charities that will help our animals, and not just dogs and cats, but ALL animals.

Join us on this adventure!
